We've been part of the Homestar family 'since fall 2005. Our daughter has gone through all Homestar's programs starting at 11 mo. (infant, toddler, and preschool) and has thrived. Our son is currently in the toddler program but started the infant program at 4 mo. Every teacher we encountered through all the programs truely cares for the children. We love that our kids are outside as much as they can. This is for all ages, even the infants. They practice play based learning. All the meals (breakfast, lunch, and snack) are organic and homemade by their own Homestar cook. I ofen joke our kids eat better at school than at home. They also have an excellent parent suport group with age appropriate talks/discussions with food and childcare provided. They've recently been through the qualistar rating and received 3 out of 4 stars on their 1st evaluation. Not a common feat. I can't say enough great things about Homestar. We feel so lucky to have found such wonderful care for our kids.

The fantastic thing about Homestar is that all the food is homemade, organic, and very nutritious. I love that I don't have to worry about packing food and know that my son is getting fed delicious, healthy fare. There is also a nice outdoor play area specifically for the infants, and the teachers are phenomenal. I was such a nervous nelly about going back to work, and they made the transition SO much easier. - Jena
